Trading Availability
Each strategy is eligible to trade on most regular U.S. market trading days.
OPTIONS, E MICRO and E MINI are eligible to trade on most regular U.S. market trading days. A strategy may not necessarily place a trade every eligible day. Trading decisions depend on market conditions, available opportunities, liquidity, risk considerations and the strategy manager's readiness.
- •OPTIONS primarily operates when the relevant U.S.-listed options markets are open.
- •E MICRO may use MNQ and MES during eligible futures-market hours.
- •E MINI may use NQ and ES during eligible futures-market hours.
- •All strategies are strictly intraday — no overnight positions are retained.
- •Trading will not take place when the relevant U.S. markets are closed, including applicable U.S. market holidays.

Section 5
Scaling at a Glance
Scaling determines how much of the model strategy exposure is followed in the subscriber's account.
| Strategy | Scaling Reference | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| OPTIONS | 20% minimum | QQQ & SPY options. Higher scaling increases exposure, risk, premium usage, and potential losses. |
| E MICRO | 20% minimum | MNQ & MES micro futures. Higher scaling increases exposure, margin usage, risk, and potential losses. |
| E MINI | 100% | NQ & ES E-mini futures. Currently uses a 100% scaling reference. |
Scaling references are educational only. Actual scaling availability, suitability, and risk depend on broker rules, account type, product permissions, capital, margin requirements, jurisdictional rules, and user understanding. Do not invent contract quantities for any scaling level unless confirmed by an Admin-configurable rule.
Section 6
Broker Compatibility
Verify current Collective2 compatibility and instrument support directly with Collective2 and the selected broker.
| Broker or broker type | Micro Futures (MNQ/MES) | E-mini Futures (NQ/ES) | QQQ/SPY Options |
|---|---|---|---|
| IBKR | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| NinjaTrader / Tradovate | Supported | Subject to compatibility | Not through the futures account |
| AMP | Supported | Subject to compatibility | Not through the futures account |
| Other C2-compatible discount futures broker | Subject to compatibility | Subject to compatibility | Usually not |
| Options/equity broker | Only if futures are supported | Only if futures are supported | Supported subject to broker |
- •IBKR can potentially support all instruments within one brokerage relationship.
- •Discount futures brokers are generally intended for futures strategies.
- •Options may require a separate compatible options/equity brokerage account.
- •Visitors must verify current Collective2 compatibility and instrument support directly with Collective2 and the selected broker.
- •Do not assume that every broker is permanently compatible.
Section 7
Capital Planning
Capital requirements depend on broker, account type, scaling, and instrument. Use the Scaling page for detailed calculators.
Capital planning should not be judged only by scaling percentage. Broker margin rules, futures permissions, intraday margin policy, account type, available margin buffer, options approval, buying power, and risk comfort can materially affect whether a subscriber can follow a strategy comfortably.
- •OPTIONS: Capital requirements depend on options approval, buying power, premium requirements, and scaling level.
- •E MICRO: Capital requirements depend on futures margin (intraday vs session-close), scaling level, and broker type.
- •E MINI: Capital requirements are higher than E MICRO due to larger contract sizes. Requires sufficient margin capacity for NQ and ES contracts.
- •Visitors should confirm margin requirements directly with their brokerage firm before subscribing or simulating.

Educational and Risk Note
All quantities, broker margins, premiums, capital estimates and market-movement examples are educational planning references. Actual copied quantities, broker requirements, execution prices, premiums, slippage, commissions and losses may differ. Scaling increases both profit potential and loss potential. Visitors should independently evaluate their account size, broker requirements, buying power and personal risk tolerance. Nothing on this page is guaranteed, a required minimum account size, a maximum possible loss, an assured protection against liquidation, an assured profit, or an assured loss recovery.
